# Welcome

<figure><img src="/files/1oV9is16XZ6Jx6KLlNkn" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

Welcome to **Blockminer**, the first **GameFi Mining Tycoon Simulator** built entirely on the **Solana blockchain**. Blockminer is more than just a game – it is an immersive **play-to-earn ecosystem** where you can roleplay as a professional cryptocurrency miner, manage virtual mining rigs, compete with others, and earn real value through the in-game token **$MINER**.

The vision behind Blockminer is to bring the thrill of cryptocurrency mining into a gamified world. Traditional mining in real life requires expensive equipment, constant energy consumption, and deep technical knowledge. Here in Blockminer, we simulate that entire experience in a fun, accessible, and community-driven way. Every decision you make – from upgrading your rigs, investing in better components, to choosing your mining strategy – will influence your performance in the game economy.

Unlike casual simulation games, Blockminer is deeply connected to blockchain technology:

* All assets are stored and verified on the **Solana network**.
* Every purchase, upgrade, or transfer is secured by **smart contracts**.
* $MINER tokens that you earn in-game can be **converted to SOL** and withdrawn to your personal wallet.

The combination of gaming, blockchain, and DeFi mechanics makes Blockminer unique in the **GameFi (Game + DeFi)** space. Here, gaming is not just entertainment – it’s an opportunity to earn, connect, and grow in a decentralized economy.

In this documentation, you will learn everything about the game: how to start, the different menus, strategies, token utilities, and the future roadmap of Blockminer. Whether you are a casual gamer, a Solana enthusiast, or a DeFi investor, Blockminer has a place for you.
